Bleu-Blanc-Cœur, created in 2000, was born from the collaboration between farmers, scientists, and consumers sharing a common vision: to improve the nutritional quality of food while preserving the environment.
What are the association's objectives?
-
Encouraging healthier eating by improving the nutritional composition of our food products
The organization initially focused on the animal sector, particularly on meat and dairy production. Today, it supports manufacturers and industrial companies specializing in human food (bakeries, pastry shops, specialized nutrition, etc.).
- Promoting sustainable agricultural practices and the development of more sustainable agriculture:
Integration of French raw materials into animal feed rations. This promotes biodiversity and favors feeds that enrich the composition with essential nutrients. French flax, a source of omega-3, is an integral part of this approach.
- Positive contribution to the health of the entire sector:
Eggs, meat, and food products from this sustainable agriculture have a higher content of beneficial fatty acids, omega-3s, and antioxidants. These elements have demonstrated their positive contribution to cardiovascular health, reducing the risk of chronic diseases, and improving overall well-being. Several clinical studies have been conducted to support this.
